Just a Lighthearted Giggle Today

It can't all be about what I'm learning every day (although I know you get excited when I ramble on about my rudiments!!) or even about all the cool music out there (you should get excited about that though!). Some days are just about seeing the lighter side of life (yeah there is one honestly!).

​Yesterday I had the most ridiculous fun, people think I'm v e r y serious but they are SO wrong, I'm just very ironic! I had the idea to stick my songs onto a CD, the reason being before Christmas my teacher Tom had challenged me to produce 5 songs and with this last one I finally have. He didn't say they had to be good songs which is very good news for me! So challenge - DONE. Anyway I figured it would be a bit of fun to present him with a CD that will probably go straight in the bin or at best in a drawer for a few years until he finds it again then the bin. Not that I think Tom's mean (haha!), but seriously, it's not good stuff, he has a tonne of students and it's just a gimmick anyway.

Of course, being me .......!!  I had to do it full on Tasha style!!! Not content with burning a simple disc or doing some notes on the cover I had to design a full CD!! Here is the cover for it based off of one of my doodles you may recognise with a title that will make a lot of sense in a humorous sort of way if you've been following along with me for a bit (told you I'm very ironic and I poke a lot of fun at myself!). I mean come on, as cheesy as it is that's pretty cool right??!!!! 😎  The only thing I forgot to add was my name haha - I'll never be any good at self promotion, I'm all about ideas & adventures!

Apart from that I've finished the video for Bitter Sweet, it's not good but it doesn't matter because these are just quick songs.  This one was start to finish in 4 days, we're not talking recording studio quality so I can't afford to waste time or money (hence the cheap footage!) on the vids.  I'll post the link when it's on YouTube as usual.  Still loving the song!

In the meantime thank you for reading my waffle and being part of the journey for this first few songs.  It's been a roller coaster and pretty darn amazing (yes I just said darn *grin*).  I'm starting today as I mean to go on so guilty playlist is on and I'm rocking to "When the Sh__ goes down" by Cypress Hill - what a fun toon!
