Lucky Seven - Another 'Song'

A Work In Progress!

Yesterday I woke up early - not sleeping again - and started playing the guitar as you do first thing in the morning.  I came up with some really cool chords (so easily pleased) and let hubby have a few more hours kip before I barged in and as he scrunched up his sleepy face I said "hey how cool is this".  Bless him he's not even awake but he listened and an idea was born.

A couple of hours later the intro and basic verse were done but I had no idea what I was going to do for a chorus - not even the chords, nothing!  I texted my teacher in a panic because I didn't know where to start looking for ideas as I'd used all 7 chords and bless him he got back with some advice which really helped and ta da.   

Well - no - not really that simple.  Another of my mishmash hack jobs followed and so I need to re-record every track especially that last 8 bar "piano solo"!  So expect this to sound very messy but remember I promised you warts and all.

I NEED to push forward on technique again so that I can start to explore other music styles.  Right now I'm playing to my 'strengths' and I want to start moving outside of that and add more strings to my bow.

My best yet but so so far to go!
